We grew up together on Cameron Drive. We played basketball at my house and twisted metal on your play station. I called you on the phone when I got my trumpet to play in the school band. I said, “go outside” and then I blew as loud as I could on it to see if you could hear me. Love from a childhood friend.

Like so many have said “Leland was there for me during my darkest times”. He kept me busy with his little projects, so I could focus on something else.
I’ll never forget what an amazing friend you were. Never passing judgment and always having my back. I’ll forever be your voice brother. Keep an eye from the sky and I’ll cover you down here. Love you and forever will miss you.

I wasn’t in Cali to make to his funeral. Leland was one of a kind. His brother from another mother Ty will come see him when I get home. He will be greatly missed. Till I see you again Lee love you brother! And I send my condolences to you all. Stay strong and may the good lord wrap his arms around your whole family to comfort and get you through this hard time.
