I had the pleasure of being friends with Mario for over 45 years. When i think of Mario, I always think of his pride. He was proud of his family and the accomplishments they achieved. He would always speak up and make sure that those accomplishments were recognized. I spent so much of my youth with the Nanez family, that this day has weighed heavily on me. I feel that it was only yesterday, that we were on the playgrounds of Manzanita School having the time of our lives. Through the years we may have drifted apart, but whenever we did see each other, all of the old memories would come flooding back. I want to send my condolences to the entire family and i will never forget the love we shared.
