I have known Mary Ann most of my life. Her and my mom worked at Sierra Avenue School together and I went to school with Pam and Kenny. She’s always been such a special person that I have loved as family. I always enjoyed when I would run in to her at ballgames watching her grandchildren play and would get to catch up on what she had been up to. I know she is rejoicing with her soulmate Stanley, and watching over her family, MaryAnn was and always will be remembered as a great Mom, Grandmother and friend to those who were lucky to have known her. Will miss you MaryAnn, you are so loved and such a loving person, this isn’t good bye this until we meet again.

Aunt Mary Ann shared her love of a Jesus with me as far back as I have memory. She planted those “Early Childhood Spiritual Seeds” in me long before I gave my life to the Lord. In my late twenties those seeds began to sprout and Jesus became known to me and His word became alive! I’ll never forget the joy on Aunt Mary Ann’s face when we could finally share deeply what God was doing in our lives and those of our families. Aunt Mary Ann has been a role model to me, she has demonstrated her whole life through the Radiant Beauty of a Proverbs 31 Women. I will miss her encouragement and those wonderful yearly Christmas Cards which she always took the time to write words of love and inspiration. Aunt Mary Ann loved her family and devoted her life to each and everyone of you, she was so proud of her husband, her children and her grandchildren. Aunt Mary Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and faithfulness…God Bless You Dear Family. With all my Love your niece in Oregon, Kathy L.

I was so blessed to have MaryAnn in my life for many years. Our Friday mornings while I did her hair were something I always looked forward to with her witty sense of humor to sharing stories of our family life. And of course she was a prayer warrior and always lifted me up in prayer when I needed it most. Thank you MaryAnn and you will be deeply missed❤️

Mary Ann will be missed by so many. She touched so many hearts. She made us feel so welcome when we moved here. I never knew neighbors could be so wonderful. I have so many fond memories and we were very thankful to have her in our lives. She is now with the love of her life and at peace. Thank you for everything.

Sending love and prayers to all of you as you gather together to celebrate Mary Ann. My Richard has gone onto be with the Lord, but he would join me in saying what a wonderful friend we found in Mary Ann. I remember so many fun bowling trips together. Oh and our game nights together. The treasure the most was our friendship and worshipping together at Oroville First Assembly where we met many years ago. God bless you all. May you feel his comfort. Judy Cottingham and family

Mary Ann was a wonderful friend to all those teachers, staff, and the many students who had the absolute pleasure to have known her over the years she worked in the Thermalito School District. She was of particular help and so very kind to this "rookie" teacher many, many years ago. I will never forget the smiles and friendliness that she and Stan gave to me, as well as, their trust to let me be the kindergarten teacher for their precious grandchildren. My family sends condolences to the Huston family, and wish that your memories will warm your hearts forever.
