Brenda was a very sweet, kind, caring, loving, gentle, wonderful person. Her son Cameron is the bishop of our ward and when she would visit she was always very sweet and kind to me. My heart goes out to her family and they are in my thoughts and prayers. I am heartbroken and saddened by the loss of Brenda. Kathleen Duncan

Working with Brenda at GHS was definitely a highlight for me. She ALWAYS had a kind word for the students but we teachers as well. She was one in a million who will not soon be forgotten. We shared stories about our families together in the teachers room, we went Christmas shopping together, we were at all the sporting events together (as you know our children were close in age). She especially took my son, Bret, under her wings in the Leadership Class. She made his high school career a memorable one. For that Al and I will be forever grateful. To her entire family, I pray you will have the strength to get through this. I am sure you will be blessed just knowing how much she touched so many lives. Al, Pat, and Bret Olson

I have some fond childhood memories of Brenda and Wayne coming over to our house to play games. I remember Wayne’s deep voice and laugh and Brenda’s kindness and warmth. Brenda has always been so kind and loving to my mom. I’m sure there was a lot of hugging when Brenda smiled through heaven’s door and no doubt my mom was waiting to welcome her home. Sending my gratitude to Wayne and his wonderful family and thanking you for sharing your angelic wife, mother and grandmother with us for so many wonderful years. Love, Bret Reich (Marilyn’s son)
