Obituary of Keith Allen Dunn
Keith Allen Dunn, 51 of Biggs, California, passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021 in Chico, California. Keith was born to Dale and Eva Jo Dunn on December 15, 1969 in The Dalles, Oregon.
He was a longtime resident of Biggs, and graduated from Biggs High School in 1988. After graduation, Keith made the brave decision to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Throughout his Navy career, Keith served as military police, and also as an electronic radar maintenance technician. He ended his 13 year military career highly decorated with several hard earned medals and the rank MA2. After the military, he became a caregiver, doing In-Home Supportive Services for family, and clients who then became his friends and family.
Keith was always helping his friends and family out in one fashion or another. He also spent his time vegetable gardening, tinkering with his truck, motorcycle riding, music, computers, attending concerts and sporting events with his friends and family, or strumming his guitar. Most often you could find him enjoying a BBQ with his brother and friends in the backyard, or relaxing with his dogs. Keith was also involved in the Biggs Richvale Little League for several years, and took pleasure in cheering his nephew on at his games. He was a member of E Clampus Vitus, and as a Clamper, Keith enjoyed attending the Doins, as well as their commitment to work, family, community, and history. Most of all, Keith was a proud father and grandfather, and also played a major role in his nieces and nephew’s lives.
Keith was preceded in death by his father Dale Dunn, Grandmother Nanna Wright, Uncle Ray Dunn, his Aunt Beverly Olson, and Aunt Charlotte.
He is survived by his mother Eva Jo Dunn, daughters Erica (Trevor) Riutcel, Dayle (Jo) Kesterson, and Elisha Dunn, along with his siblings; Cliff Dunn, Linda (Tony) Cox, Barbara Dunn, Robert Dunn, and Kevin (Lora) Dunn; as well as his 5 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends whom will all miss his strong presence and heart of gold.
A celebration of life with military honors will be held on April 19, 2021 at Gridley Biggs Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. in the gazebo. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel, 530-846-2138.
