Her Legacy… Thil Yuke Wilcox was born on February 19, 1946 in Oroville, CA. To Yee and Stella Chan. Thil passed away on December 7, 2020 in Oroville, CA. She was married to John Wilcox for 36 years. Her family has been traced back to the 11th Dynasty of China (Song Dynasty – 960 to 1279) The Chan family was instrumental in the upkeep and operation of the Oroville Chinese Temple until the 1930’s when it was deeded over to the City of Oroville. Thil worked for the Butte County Tax Collectors office and District Attorney’s Office. She was an Oroville City Council woman for 8 years, serving as the Vice-Mayor for 4 years. Her Family… Thil is survived by her husband John, 3 children Allen, Daniel and Cynthia. 3 sisters Marilyn, Anita and Yim, her brother Hing. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her Farewell Service… Her graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at 11:00am at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd. Oroville CA.
