Obituary of Anthony Bernard Rocha

Anthony Rocha, 96, of Gridley, California passed away on December 2, 2020. Tony was born in Stevinson, California on June 18, 1924 to Frank and Emilia Rocha. He married Betty Ann Henry in 1942 and they had 4 children. Betty Ann passed away in 1960. He met the second love of his life, Betty Jean, and they were married on May 20, 1961. The two families blended together as one. Tony and Jean had two children, bringing the family total to eight children. Tony was preceded in death by both his wives, his parents, three sisters, three brothers, his daughter Shirley, his son Richard and his grandson Anthony Paul. He is survived by his son Gary (Lynn); daughter Laura (Jim); daughter Emily (Jim); daughter Judy (Jerry); Daughter Kimberley (Terry); and son Michael (Andrea). Thirteen grandchildren, Jimmy, Angie, Terri, Staci, Scott, Brett, Jennifer, Jarrett, Anthony, Josh, Katie, Jamie and James; 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-granddaughters. Tony was a devoted husband and father. He was the patriarch of the family and had a lifelong passion for his career as a truck driver. A private rosary will be held for the family only, as well as a private burial at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery.
