If there were a time when a gentleman was asked to stand up in the room, we would all expect to see Ed stand. He might not, for I remember him as being quiet and humble. We didn't get to visit much with Ed and Laurie over the years, but we are thankful to be a small part of the life and love they shared. Our sincerest sympathy to our niece Laurie and the entire Bower family.
