I never met Steve, however, I felt like I knew him. I know his sweet sister Kathy as we went to school together, and it was through her that I had the honor of getting Steve as a "facebook friend" We would share our Christian values, back and forth, and I will forever cherish those comments and words. I know Steve always shared how much he loved his beautiful wife, Kim and his family, that was evident in the way he always spoke so highly of them. I will miss those "chats" and his every day comments.
May God Bless his family, and give you all the peace and comfort you need at this time. You will be missed, my friend.
With love, your friend,
Paulette (Wilson) Barton

Steve was many things to many people. Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Entrepreneur, Man of Faith. Always generous and willing to lend a helping hand where needed. I mostly remember he loved a challenge or a thrill and met it head on. Whether it was the dangerous ski slope or high speed racing. To me he was my Cousin and Friend and I’ll miss talking with him about fishing and golfing. You’ve won the race Steve. Rest In Peace.

Even though we went to the same high school he was 4 years behind me. We connected through Facebook & I had fun teasing him about his many DYI injuries! He was a good guy & I know he loved his family very much by his actions & words. R.I.P. in the Speedway of the Heavens Steve

My heart is heavy that he left this world so young, and yet did so much in helping others while here on earth. I have known Steve since he was born, and growing up along with my 2 sons, one of them being the same age as Steve (only several weeks younger).
May God carry you and comfort you through this hard time. You are in my prayers for you, as well as for the rest of your family.
You are loved so much. Ruth Morch-Chico

I am just hearing the new of Steve. I am shocked of his passing. I went to school with Steve starting in Kindergarden. I was able to visit with Steve and his wife Kim at a small reunion a few years back at Alum Rock Park in San Jose. Seeing Steve was the highlight of the afternoon for me. I was hoping to see Steve again at another reunion. My condolences to Kim and family.
My heart was broken today with this news.

Love you daddio! You were one of a kind! I’ll carry you in my heart forever. My heart aches that you are no longer with us, but I have joy knowing I’ll see you again in heaven! Try not to get too rowdy up there...no burnouts on the streets of gold!

Steve worked for Lares Research some years ago and was a wonderful coworker. It was always my pleasure to get to speak with him and when I ran into him a couple months ago out at the airport I very much enjoyed catching up with him again. Steve was a salt of the earth guy and will be sorely missed.

I worked with Steve for over six years; he was a "get er done" kind of guy at work. I have met very few people with a bigger heart than Steve. He helped his co-workers whenever they needed it and and never (that I know of) asked for a favor or payment in return. He was the champion of those who needed help and he will be missed.Condolences to his wife and family . . .
