Obituary of Sandra Q Bennett

Our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Matriarch Sandra Quist Bennett passed away on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at her long term care facility in Chico, California. She died from complications associated with several strokes she had suffered. She was 85 years old. Sandra spent most of her life living in the Gridley area. She was a devoted mother and active member at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many child and youth programs both in teaching and in leadership callings. Sandra worked as the secretary of the West Biggs - Gridley Water District for 29 years. Prior to that she operated a children's day care service at her home. She was preceeded in death by her sons Jeffrey D. Bennett and Steven P. Bennett. Sandra is survived by her daughter Jolynn B. Subramanian, her son Michael H. Bennett, her grandchildren Daniel M. Subramanian, Nathan B. Subramanian, Jeffrey K. Subramanian, Rachel Subramanian, Sara K. Mitchell, Michael S. Bennett, Matthew M. Bennett, Katelynn L. Bennett and seven great-grandchildren. Sandra's interment will be at 1pm Friday the 11th of September at the Gridley Biggs Memorial Cemetery, Gridley, California.
