Obituary of Michael Gene Hutcheson

His Legacy… Mike was born in Sacramento on December 7, 1954 and moved to Oroville as a young boy. Mike loved all sports, but “hot hands hutch” excelled at football where he received a scholarship to Boise State, instead Mike chose to serve our country by entering the Navy. Mike met the love of his life Kathy and they were married September 6, 1975. From that day on he was a hard working family man who loved God. Mike’s life was his wife, his children, and his grand-kids. He loved being a husband, dad, and especially Papa. He went home to be with Jesus and Krissie on February 9, 2020. His Family… Mike is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Kellie Hutcheson, son Joel Hutcheson and son Timothy (Kaley) Hutcheson; his grandchildren Bryson Hutcheson, Grace Hutcheson, and coming soon Braxton James Hutcheson; his mother Dee Kirk, his brother Dennis Hutcheson, and his sister Karen Hlavaty; along with lots of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Kristina (Krissie) Hutcheson and his father Jesse Hutcheson. His Farewell Service… His Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Oroville Church of the Nazarene, 2238 Monte Vista Ave. Oroville, California.
