My deepest condolences to Mamma Lola’s family, friends, former students, and church family! I loved the way she and Jim welcomed my son, CJ, into the family even before he and Morgan were married. I am blessed to have enjoyed a few Thanksgivings with her and the family. I know that she is looking down on you all with love! She will be forever in all your hearts and in your memory for her, her love of others, friendliness, and her strong faith! Sincere Best regards, Kathy King

I honestly can't imagine this world without your Mom in it. I have so many amazing memories of her smile, her laugh, her giggle, her pure joy. How much she took care of us kids when we were at Central and what a bright light she was in so many lives. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. You are so blessed, because as the pain fades, you will have so many amazing memories of her, because she was just that special.
Love, Betty Nelson

I have very fond memories of Lola working in the kitchen at Central Middle School when I was a student there many years ago . She obviously loved all the students and knew us by name . Whenever I would go to the snack bar I would always I would deliberately get in her line so I could talk to her . She knew me by name and remembered the things I always liked . She was a sweet , kind lady who will obviously be sorely missed by all who knew her . My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends who loved her , which are many .

So sorry to hear about Aunt Lola’s passing. Loved her quick wit and her tuna sandwiches! Sending love and light to Uncle Jim and all my cousins and families. I’m comforted knowing that she is with Mom and Dad, most likely sitting around a table drinking a good cup of coffee and having a good laugh!
