Uncle Don - you were the most even tempered of the Smith boys - always a smile, a kind word or a teasing comment and a chuckle - and you treated my mom like a sister - she had great respect for you - I did as well - we all loved you a lot, too. Plus, you gave mom lots of walnuts and, after cracking them, she'd come to Oregon and share them with us, so it was like we got them from you, too. I know you and Russ kept in touch - I am glad he had you to talk to (or talk AT). What patience you must have had!
Sending my love to you - Bruce, Gary, Laurie, Lisa - losing a parent, as you know, is so damn hard. I hope the awesome memories you share with each other will make you laugh, cry, and cherish the time you spend together. Love and hugs to you all - cousin Bobbi
