Obituary of Tom Eugene May

His Legacy… Tom Eugene May was born on September 20, 1954 in Marysville, California to Dorothy Potts and Tom May Sr. Tom passed away on April 14, 2019 in Oroville, California. He was a well-respected mentor of the Native American Community as well as a precious father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He loved fishing, smudging, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed feeding the doves, telling jokes, riding his Harley and helping others however he could.

His Family… Tom is survived by his sisters Kathy May Loomis, Rhonda May Decoy of Oroville, CA; and Patricia May of Pine Ridge, SD; his sons, Thomas Jeffrey May of Chico, CA; and Mason Don May of Oroville, CA; his daughter Heidi Dehoff of Oroville, CA; his grandchildren, Peyton Nicole May of Oroville, CA; and Tobias James May of Chico, CA. He is preceded in death by his father Tom Eugene May Sr., his mother Doris Potts, his brother Jeff May, his sister Geneva May and his daughter Linsey Nicole May.

His Celebration of Life… His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Christian Faith Center, 7695 Melvina Ave., Palermo, CA 95968. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
