I just heard of Toms passing. Our condolences. I met Tom at Tribal TANF back in 2016. He became not only my Counselor but very dear Friend. He truly cared about my Husband Donavan and I’s sobriety. He was our marriage counselor in his free time, my drug counselor, my anger management counselor and our daughter was the first baby he ever smudged. He came out to our home When we moved out to Loma Rica and saged with us. Tom was the best listener and I knew I could call him day or night and he’d be there for me. He went to bat for us in Family Court and helped us keep our daughter. It made me so sad to hear he passed but I know he will always watch over us. He is reunited with his daughter and I know he’s happy. Thanks Tom for all you did. We love and miss you. Rest in Paradise Mr. May!!!

First let me start off with my condolences to Tom's Family as I share this loss with them when I first met Tom at Feather River Tribal Health I knew he was one of the good ol boys he would always help me when ever I needed anything and he would always stop me while passing threw the halls to see if I needed anything or just to have a simple conversation and when I was upset about something he always knew just the right thing to say to me to cheer me up when I walked into Feather River Tribal Health this morning and found out about Tom's passing I walked out heart Broken as I knew I would never get to see my friend again until it is my time to leave this earth I went by the church but I could not bring my self to go inside and say good bye to my friend Tom but I did say my goodbye's as i drove bye really slow I will never forget my good buddie Tom may he always rest in peace and never be forgotten...

My heart is heavy upon hearing about Tom passing. He has been a blessing, a mentor, and a friend to both myself and my husband, Frank. We have learned a lot from Tom and we will always hold him dear to or hearts. I've always enjoyed being smudged by Tom and having him smudge our new home as well. I still have some medicine he gave me and I feel special that he'd gift me with something so sacred. Tom used to always come to Longs to buy a newspaper before work and talking to him would make my workday begin on a positive note. You'll be loved and greatly missed, Tom, but never ever forgotten. Thank you for all you have done for our community and for everyone who crossed your path.

My heart truly goes out to Toms family, i hold a very special place in my heart for Tom. He gave me a chance at life and recovery when everyone else was so finished with me, he would talk to me and share real life lessons he walked through himself. Any time i saw him he would tell me how proud of me he was. Educated me on my native side of my blood line. He will be always have a wonderful story or something amazing to share. He could spot a hawk and tell you every bit of info you needed to know about them. Most of all im grateful and blessed to have known him and to hold these memories so close and dear.

I have known Tom for about 30 years only. He has been a good friend. His wisdom and intelligence was shared with all he came in contact with. It was a gift to work with him and a gift to know him. He will be missed on earth but we will meet again in the hereafter. He is with his Linsey now watching over his family. Blessings to his family and those left behind.
