Dear Glenn and Rose,
We will miss Bridget dearly. We could not have wished for a better person to call a friend.
Meeting Bridget over 40 years ago during you and John's college forestry days was the start of a special friendship. While Bridget and I cheered you guys on during college forestry conclaves and endured those wild game BBQ' dinners we forged an even greater friendship bond. As you married and moved to California we thought those great friends were moving on. To our good fortune our paths were to cross again when we moved to California. After some years and always keeping our friendship, we ended up living a couple of hours apart. We became family spending Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter and enjoying Steven, Andrew, and Rose grow.
We will always remember Bridget for the true friend she was and being a huge part in giving our boys the feeling of family, indeed both of you did.
Those holidays were filled with adventures, playing games, pets, Bridget's cooking, and so much love. Both Andrew and Steven recall so many memories and know they have already shared them with their families.
We have lost a dear friend but we will always remember Bridget for her love for you and Rose, her passion for family, helping others, and caring for the world? She will never be forgotten and always loved.
Bonnie and John

Glen and Rose,
The two of you have been on our minds and in our hearts since first receiving the news that Bridget had been admitted to the hospital. We followed Carey's e-mail updates and final her note that Bridget had passed on March 14. As I write this note, and at this very hour, you, Bridget's sisters and all of Bridget's many friends and neighbors are celebrating her life. Please know that we join all of you this afternoon at St.Thomas the Apostle Church and Feather Falls banquet room. We will always remember how strong Bridget was as she worked so hard to battle every medical condition she encountered. You both were always by her side.
I love the photo you have chosen of your beautiful wife Glen, and your mother, Rose.
The photo shows her soft, gentle side, and that bit of mischief that must have made game playing so much fun! I know she must have been a very good speech therapist and, had she been a teacher, she would have been the best. I remember how she tried to help me quiet Gracie when she was a puppy. Patience and rewards.
We were not very successful with our spirited Gracie, however I could see how well she must have worked in her professional career.
God be with you both as you go forward in life. You are in our prayers. We know that Bridget's star will always shine brightly in the nighttime sky.
Always,
Bill and Lynda Meseke

I was Bridgets caregiver. Even though we only knew each other for a short time, I felt very close to her. Kindred souls, so to say. She predicted for me that I will become a contestant on "Wheel of Fortune". And will fall in love again. I'll look forward to those events coming true. Because now I know she is my angel and watching over me. I also feel inside she is at peace.
I am a writer, vocalist. And I wrote a poem that I hope will help a few hearts that read it. It is called, "A Tear"
Maybe a tear can be a joy
Somehow it seems to fill the void
It uplifts the spirit deep inside
And takes away ones self pride
When the tears of sadness
Come rolling in
Don't spend your life
On what might have been
For there are tears of joy
Like a bright shiny toy
The ones that love
And love set aside
And they'll make you feel
Just like a bird
With golden wings
That glisten and glide

Dear Glenn,
So sorry to hear about Bridget. It has been forever since we have seen each other but our time together are some of my best memories. We had some times back in the day. I went through my slides and I am getting a half dozen or so of some of those times in the woods and on the lake printed up and will send them to you soon.
Sorry I cannot make it to the service as I am up in Washington now but if we get a road trip going, we will try to stop by.
Take care of yourself my friend, my thoughts will be with you.

I will always remember Bridget with a twinkle in her eyes and her sweet, happy laugh as she stopped by my gates to comment on our Meadowbrook wildlife which she loved. For well over 30 years Bridget has been one of my sweetest best neighbors I could ever ask for. You are dearly loved and I will sadly miss your genuine friendship.
With love always, Pati Diridoni*
