Obituary of Jack Sampson Presley

Private family services will be held at a later date for Jack Presley, 91 of Gridley. He passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Gridley. He was born June 13, 1927, in Cherokee, California, to Jess and Myrtle Presley.

He was a longtime resident of Butte County, having farmed in the Manzanita area for several years. He enjoyed fishing during the summers in Ft. Bragg. He was a member of the Gridley Lions Club and was a friend to everyone, never meeting a stranger.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Millie Presley of Gridley, son Michael Presley, and daughter Linda Presley, both of Gridley, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
