Obituary of Lawrence Parker Gibbs

His Legacy… Lawrence Parker Gibbs was born on February 11, 1946 in East Chicago, Indiana to McKinley and Gertrude. He passed away on February 9, 2019 in Oroville, California. He loved working on cars, fishing, vending his wares, and engaging in conversation on any topic you would want to talk about. Lawrence accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

His Family… Lawrence is survived by his brother McKinley Gibbs of Gary, Indiana; his sister Diane Ford of Jonesboro, Georgia; brother Fredrick Gibbs and Sylvia of Avondale Estates, Georgia; brother Darold and Johnette Gibbs  of Atlanta, Georgia; and sister Betty Gibbs of Jonesboro, Georgia. He is also survived by a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, his wife Edwina and his son Lawrence A.K.A Bruiser.

His Farewell Service… His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 2019 at 11:00 AM at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson Street Oroville, California. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
