Obituary of Edward Leroy Clark
His Legacy… Edward L. “Brush” Clark was born on April 10, 1940 in Oroville, California to Lee and Imogene Clark. Ed passed away on September 10, 2018 in Chico, California. Ed lived in Oroville his entire life. He attended Oroville High School where he excelled in football and track. He married his first love Marge Hitte, and they were together for 60 years. Ed worked at Las Plumas Lumber for 40 years, and was the yard superintendent for the majority of that time. He enjoyed NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, playing cards, cutting firewood, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. For those who knew Ed, they will never forget him.
His Family… Ed is survived by his wife Marge Clark of Oroville, CA; his son Thomas (Barbara) Clark of California, MD; his daughter Jill (Rick) Broderson of Oroville, CA; three granddaughters, Alison Broderson of Oroville, CA; Katherine and Claire Clark of California, MD; and his brother Willie Clark of Casa Grande, AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents.
His Farewell Service… A Celebration of Life for Ed will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Copa De Oro, 1445 Myers Street, Oroville, California 95965. Services have been entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Northwest SPCA or to Butte Home Health and Hospice.
