Almost 40 years ago when I knew the Clark Family. Nerf football in their front yard with Thomas and Anthony every summer evening till dark. I was maybe 12 years old. 'Brush', though we never called him that, it was always 'Mr. Clark', was an intimidating man. But I witnessed another side to him that I will always remember. In 1979 or 80 he had the BADDEST truck in existence. One night I got to ride in it. My friend Anthony and I heard the Truck start up and immediately we were outside hoping to get a ride. I think Jill had a boyfriend over and was being taken home. Me and Anthony jumped in back. That truck was rumored to be the fastest truck in town. I will never forget being in the back, going up towards Kelly Ridge, Brush came to a stop slowly, I turn around to face the front to see what was going on and he looks at me with a childish grin and 454 cubic inches come alive. Tire smoke is rolling over the fenders to the point I cant even see my friend Anthony who is right next to me. Holding on for dear life. As smoke clears, struggle to turn around in time to see the speedo hit 100mph. The truck slows back down to 40 for the rest of the trip. The burnout mark had to be 100 yards long. Every time I would go by the 'scratch' mark I had a story to tell. I still remember every detail about that truck. It was a 1977 Black Chevy step side 4x4 with a 454 TH400 transmission, 3500 stall converter, 1000 cfm Holley. It had to put out over 500 hp. I still want that truck today. Mr. Clark will never be forgotten. My condolences to Tom and Jill and their Mother.

Dear Marge & Family!
We can not begin to express our feelings to you and your family. Other than shock!
Our deepest sympathy to each of you.
Brush was a great talker and always an up-beat guy each and every time we would see him. I did not know him as well as "Scotty" but always enjoyed his stories. (These local outdoor guys always had a story!)
Our love and prayers to each of you. Floyd (Scotty) and Bobbie
