Obituary of Jennifer Kathleen Halterman
Her Legacy… Jennifer Kathleen Halterman was born in Osaka, Japan on March 8, 1949 to Harold W. Smith, Sr. & Ethel V. Smith. She passed away in the comfort of her home on September 29, 2017. She was a homemaker and loving partner of life to Steve. They recently celebrated their 17th year of loving of one another. Jennifer enjoyed her 11 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren; supporting them in all of their activities. Jennifer’s favorite hobbies included camping in Caribou and sewing. She made a holiday tradition of sewing pajamas for the grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her biggest joys was country line dancing with Steve along with weekly movie dates and eating at different places. During the holidays her greatest passion was celebrating, baking and laughing with friends and family.
Her Family… Jennifer is survived by her loving partner in life Steve Martinez, and her 4 children; Robert & Deanna Halterman of North Carolina, Kathleen & Shane Robertson of Oroville, Tamatha& Fernando Vasquez, Jr. of Yuba City, and Clinton & Vanessa Halterman of Oroville, Troy Coker and Zoey her beloved fur-baby.
Her Farewell Service… A celebration of life will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00pm located at the Log Cabin at Feather Falls Casino 175 Alverta Dr. Oroville, Ca. You are invited to join her family for a pot luck meal while listening to her favorite country music. Her final resting place will be at the home she shared with her loving partner Steve, in Palermo, California. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to your favorite animal shelter.
