Obituary of Genevieve I Adams

A graveside service will be held on Monday September 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery for Genevieve Inez Rasul Adams, 76 of Gridley. She passed away on Monday September 18, 2017 in Marysville, CA. She was born on March 14, 1941, in El Centro, CA one of five children born to Ben and Josephine Rasul.

She was longtime resident of Gridley, having moved from Oregon to California. She enjoyed the outdoors, horses, crocheting, and ceramics. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and will be greatly missed by them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold Adams, and one brother Ben Rasul.

She is survived by three sons; John (Judy) Adams of Loma Rica, CA, Alan Adams of Gridley, Andrew Adams of Texas, three sisters; Alice Thayer of Chico, Rosie Marcus of Yuba City, and Virginia Wolf also of Yuba City, 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren

The family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
