Obituary of Deborah Ann Dolan

A funeral service for Deborah Ann Dolan will be held on Monday August 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at the LDS Chapel on Spruce Street in Gridley.

Deborah Ann Crabtree Dolan was born on September 16, 1958 in Lynwood, CA and returned home on August 16, 2017 in Gridley, CA.

Debbie was the second child and the first daughter to Frederick Lee Crabtree and JoAnn Wilburn. Debbie grew up in Southern CA and with her family moved to the North State in 1992. She enjoyed nature, most especially the beach and the mountains. Debbie enjoyed making and producing homemade items, most especially soaps, lotions, woodcarvings, knitted and crocheted items, and working with driftwood. Debbie also excelled in supplying family and friends with cookies and other culinary delights. Her greatest work and joy came from family and home. She also enjoyed working with and serving others, especially in callings and assignments within her church activity and experience. Nothing brought Debbie greater happiness than to be with her sons, her daughters and the four grandchildren that lovingly called her “Nana”!

Debbie was preceded in death by her father Fred Crabtree.

She is survived by her mother JoAnn (Stan) Rinehart of Oroville, Debbie’s loving husband Larry of Gridley, her two sons and their families’; Scott, Tabi and Raiah Dolan of San Jose, and Andrew, Julianne, Kate, Noah and Emerson Dolan of Santa Maria. Others among this group are her 2 brothers; Larry Crabtree and family of Highland, CA, and Steven Crabtree and family of Edmonds, WA, sister Sandy Crabtree of Running Springs, CA, along with many uncles, aunts and cousins.
