Obituary of Mark Raymond Cheek

His Legacy… Mark Raymond Cheek was born on May 6, 1955 in Walnut Creek, California to Muriel and Earl Cheek. Mark entered into Heaven on August 3, 2017 at his home in Oroville with his beloved wife and best friend Rhonda at his side. Mark worked in the construction industry as a carpenter for 40 years. His primary focus in life was his family and friends. He loved all types of gatherings especially when he got to BBQ, which he was a master at. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and he loved motorcycles. He had the best sense of humor, you could always count on Mark to make you laugh and feel loved when you were around him. He will be deeply missed as we now have a hole in our lives without him. Rest in peace Mark.

His Family… Mark is survived by his loving wife Rhonda Cheek of Oroville, CA; his children, Amber Cheek of Clear Lake, CA; Chelsea Stephens, Chloe Stutz, and Miles Cheek all of Oroville, CA; his siblings, Kristi Moeuer of Berry Creek, CA; Tonya, Kendra, and Mike. He is also survived by his grandchildren who he adored, Brindalyn, Reagan, Autumn, Jameson, Jace, Ethan and Raylin. He is preceded in death by his parents.

His Farewell Service…A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson St., Oroville, California. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow at The Gray Nurse, 1359 Huntoon St. Oroville, California. In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to Wounded Warriors Foundation.
