Obituary of James Richard Bischof

James Bischof, 84, of Gridley, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017.

He was born September 6, 1932 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He was the Son of the late George Hugo Bischof and Katherine Louise Ritts. He was a devoted husband, a loving, giving and patient father and grandfather. His lifestyle was both physically active and active in the community. He participated in ASQC and tutoring as well as his church.

He is survived by his four daughters, three son in-laws, three sisters, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m., on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Gridley Biggs Cemetery, 2023 CA-99, Gridley, CA 95948. A reception celebrating his life will follow the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gridley Christian Church Children’s Program, 580 Washington Street, Gridley, California 95948.
