Obituary of David Neill Linn
David Neill Linn, 78, of Moraga, California died peacefully at home after a long struggle with lung cancer. David was born in San Jose, California on January 11, 1939. He is predeceased by his parents, Ronald Neill Linn and Mildred Murgotten Linn of Walnut Creek, California and brother, Henry Linn of San Leandro. He is survived by his sister, Mary Janis Linn Rivers of Modesto, California, his daughters: Penelope Linn Whitlow of Canton, Georgia and Theodora Patterson Linn of Bloomington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Natalie and Luke Whitlow; his former wife, The Rev. Virginia B. Hall of Bloomington, IN and nieces and nephews of Modesto, California.
David graduated from Cal State Hayward and Church Divinity School of the Pacific. he served as a priest in the Diocese of California and had a career as a contractor, real estate developer and audiophile.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, California.
