Obituary of Donna Hurley

Donna Louise Hurley was born on September 20, 1951 to James & June Dugger in Oakland California. Donna received her PhD and began an interesting career. She was fascinated by science. She worked for the University of Berkley under the Dam for over 27 years. She also worked on various projects for NASA. Before retiring in February 2014 the last project she worked on was studies on the Fukushima Fallout. She loved to garden and clone plants & trees. She enjoyed walking along her block keeping the neighborhood free of debris and garbage. She passed away on May 12, 2017 in Oroville California after a short illness. Donna was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Donna leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law Jason & Holly Hurley, along with her grandchildren; Joshua Patterson, Daryn Murray, Tylene and Ginny Hurley. Donna was preceded in death by her husband David Hurley, her infant child John Freeman and her parents. A Graveside Burial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Old Oroville Cemetery on Feather River Blvd in Oroville California Arrangements are entrusted to Oroville Funeral Home (530) 533-0323
