Obituary of Daniel Craig Johnson

No services are planned for Daniel Craig Johnson who passed away on September 2, 2015 at the age of 53. He was born to John and Mary Johnson on April 16, 1962 in Oroville, California and was raised there. While attending Oroville High School he lettered in four sports and was a member of Block "O". A high point in his life was being a member of a scout troop led by Jerry Cavaness. They traveled around the United States and attended Canada Scout Jamboree in British Columbia and the National Scout Jamboree in Philadelphia. Dan enjoyed life and "laughter" was something that went along with knowing him. He had a great smile, a keen sense of humor, and told jokes until your stomach hurt and you told him "stop". He loved all outdoor activities especially hiking, fishing, camping and biking. He was a loyal friend and overly generous when he found something he thought you would like. There wasn't a job that Dan hadn't done, or felt he could do. He was known for his bartering and recycling. He spent several years as a HVAC installer and the last two years he was a long-haul truck driver. Danny is survived by his son Seth Johnson of Oroville. He leaves behind brothers Scott Johnson (Janet), Eric Johnson (Rhonda); sisters Susan Garnett (Bill) and Judy Buzza (Duke); aunts Eunice McCarthy and Doris Tooley and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Pamela A. Roundy. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home. 530-534-3877.
