Obituary of Duane Allen Michael

Duane Michael, 67, passed away on April 16, 2017 in the presence of his wife of 30 years, Michelle DeLaney. Duane was born on December 10, 1949 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Millard and Betty Michael. At the tender age of 4 Duane's father put his first welding torch in his hand, teaching him his trade of Metallurgy. He went on to win many awards including Best In The Nation in the 1960's for welding dissimilar metals. He began his first business a just out of high school, giving it to his son. Duane served in the Army during Vietnam. Over the years Duane began several businesses. He was proud to be a 5 star chef, but the thing he loved to do most was Metallurgical Engineering, creating out of molten metals.

Duane is survived by his siblings Barb (Brian) Moore, Mark (Carol) Michael and Kay Garrison and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Marcia Wallace.
