Obituary of Clara Marie Rodriguez

Her Legacy… Clara Marie Rodriguez 86, of Oroville, California passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born on November 12, 1930 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Clara Betts and Charles Young. Clara lived in New Jersey, Villa Park, Illinois, had a farm in Wisconsin, before moving to California in 1970, settling in Oroville. She worked as a cook for Concow School where she loved cooking, and finished her working days at the Chinese Temple in Oroville which was her passion. Her Family… She leaves behind her eldest son Tom Shustack if Waupaca, WI, daughter Sherri (Scott) Meisinger of Oroville, CA; son Rick (Elizabeth) Rodriguez of Las Vegas, NV; son Ed (Debby) Rodriguez of Austin, TX. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She will be remembered as a special, loving, wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Her Farewell Service… No public services will be held. Private cremation and family ceremony will be held in Wisconsin at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
