Obituary of Aurelio Viveros Acosta

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church for Aurelio Viveros Acosta, 56 of Gridley, CA. He passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Gridley. Aurelio was born on November 12, 1960, in Copandaro DeGaleana, Michoacan, Mexico, one of 9 children born to Timoteo and Esther Acosta. He was a long time resident of Live Oak, having moved to Gridley within the past 3 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and loved dancing with his wife, where he was the life of the party. He also enjoyed, and had a great love for animals. He worked many years for the John Leon and Mark Breeding Ranch. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Ana Acosta of Gridley, 3 sons; Idbin, Yobani, Alejandro Acosta, one daughter, Janet Acosta, all of Gridley, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Gridley Block-Funeral Chapel, with a Rosary being recited at the church at 7:00 PM. Father Roland Ramirez will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Gridley Biggs Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel 530-846-2138.
