Mrs. Ragland was my Supervisor back when we both use to work for Pacific telephone and Telegraph. I was her favorite, however we didn't live too far from each other, she would pick me up and drive to work together along with Lawanda York. She was the best Supervisor/Boss I ever had. Love and miss you, Mrs. Ragland.

My earliest childhood memories are of Aunt Joy and Uncle Jim. Both have been a nurturing force in my life which I recognize as special and will always treasure. As a young girl, I looked forward to the annual Easter egg hunt, walks in Golden Gate Park, and countless family gatherings. My 31 year career with AT&T started with Pacific Bell where Aunt Joy was already working. Aunt Joy is an amazing woman who ‘walks the walk’ constantly demonstrating the grace of giving back. Her volunteer record is impressive and spans over her entire life. Her sensitivity and emotion is a genuine expression of her love for God, family and friends. Her ability to remember Birthdays with a card and well wishes is surpassed by none. While we never agreed on politics, we always agreed on the importance of family.
I am sad – I feel the loss of someone who will always be in my heart. At the same time I am heartened that she is reunited with Jim and Jimmy (and others) in the house of the Lord.
Your Loving Niece, Marlene
