I knew Philip mainly as a parent involved in our children’s activities. He, JoAnn, and their girls were a pleasant and happy group that we enjoyed. Of course, living in a small community our paths crossed not infrequently at various places. He seemed to me a gentle man with a calm spirit and he had the sweetest smile. I wish condolences and prayers for his family and friends. Nancy Lueder
