Obituary of Brannon E. Byrne
In Loving Memory of Brannon E. Byrne
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brannon E. Byrne, born March 25, 1968, who departed this life on January 13, 2025. Brannon was a remarkable individual whose determination, work ethic, and steadfast nature left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
From a young age, Brannon excelled at everything he undertook. His determination to succeed was matched only by his relentless hard work and unwavering spirit. Known for being strong-willed and resilient, Brannon's hard-headed nature was a testament to his commitment and passion in all aspects of life. His life was a testament to his love of the outdoors, where he found joy in hunting, fishing, and ranching. He had an entrepreneurial spirit, managing multiple businesses with dedication and vision.
Above all, Brannon was a loving and devoted father. His children, Bryar Earl Byrne and Makenna Haley Byrne were his pride and joy. He dedicated himself fully to their well-being, growth, and happiness, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Brannon also touched the lives of countless individuals as a dedicated coach of football wrestling and MMA fighting. His love for these sports extended beyond the sidelines, as he founded a youth wrestling program that introduced many young athletes to the values of determination, grit, and perseverance. His generosity and selfless contributions not only enriched the lives of those he coached but also inspired a legacy of strength and resilience in the community.
Brannon is survived by his beloved family: his children, Bryar Earl Byrne (Phebe Daddow) and Makenna Haley Byrne; his loving wife, Julie Sannar-Byrne; Julie's children: Joseph, William & Kalyn, Henry, Morgan, Ethan and Caleb Sannar ; his sister, Minden Byrne-King Villapania; and her husband, Joey Villapania; Minden’s children: Alec Justeson, and Vivian King; Joey’s children: Jonathan, Jace and Jenna Villapania.
Services:
Services on January 22, 2025 will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Mormon Church, located at 400 Spruce Street in Gridley. Graveside services will follow at Gridley Biggs Cemetery. A celebration of life will then be held at Expo Hall at the Butte County Fairgrounds, located at 199 Hazel Street in Gridley, immediately following the graveside services.
Brannon E. Byrne will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered as a shining example of perseverance, generosity, and the enduring impact of a life devoted to his family and the community.
