Obituary of Boris Alberto Segura
Boris Alberto Segura was born in Guatemala City on March 31, 1939. He married Carmen Segura on April 11, 1958. He worked for General Electric and Toshiba for many years repairing electronic equipment in Guatemala City. Moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1976 after a devastating earthquake in Guatemala.
Reunited the family in 1980 and we were all able to have a better future in the United States thanks to him. Boris was a very generous man and his priority was his family's wellbeing. He enjoyed having parties at home, always getting together with the family for birthdays, holidays and any opportunity he had to celebrate life. Enjoyed being close to the ocean, lakes or rivers. He loved fishing, even if he never catched anything. His hobby was taking videos and pictures. He was very loving with his wife and children, but more affectionate with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He took them to the parks and enjoyed playing with them.
He would have special nicknames for them like: "pitufo" "munequita" "princesita", "manitas de tincutincu, patias de metisaca" He demonstrated all of us so much love, specially at the end of his journey. Whenever my mom, my brothers or sister did something for him, he would always refer to us as his "tesorito" (little treasure) and that word meant so much for us.
We will always remember him with great love, gratitude and admiration.
Till we meet again in heaven.
