Obituary of Oliver Eugene Gramps
His Legacy...Oliver Eugene Gramps was born on October 17, 1939 in Pulga California to Albert & Edna Gramps. Oly grew up in Pulga. He was known as a hardworking man and retired with the Union Pacific Railroad. Oly's life was all about family, music, horses, drinking beer and having fun! He competed in local rodeos as a bareback rider, and supplied good ol' country music to all. No one knew it better and no one did it better. Oly died October 28th 2016 in Oroville California.
His Family...Oly is survived by his sister Betsy Gramps-Seneca, his children, Betsy Phillips-Gramps, Linda Cardenas-Gramps and Richie Gramps. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He'll be returning home to his partners in crime, his brother Freddy Gramps and Sister Dorothy Dearman.
His Farewell.. A Celebration of Life will be held at his sister's residence on Saturday Nov. 5th at 2:00 pm with the theme of one of his favorite songs. "Prop me up against the jukebox..." . Arrangements are entrusted to Oroville Funeral Home (530) 533-0323.
