Obituary of Danny Lee Keyes

His Legacy… Danny Keyes passed away on Oct. 29, 2016 in Oroville CA at the age of 65. Danny was a happy go lucky single man who would help anyone who needed him at any time. He worked doing yard work and was a crossing guard for Nelson Ave. School along with working for the Gleaners at New Life Church. Danny never drove a car; his bicycle was his main mode of transportation. Danny will be remembered as a dedicated San Francisco 49er football fan and a man who loved to fish. His Family…Danny is the brother to Kenny Keyes, Tony Keyes, Viola (Wilbur) Bush, Ada (Jim) Christensen all of Oroville, Mary (Greg) Carl of Alaska, Rose(Bob) Becker of Texas, Dolly (Perry) Broster of Atascadero, CA and Ernie Keyes Jr. of Idaho, who will miss their happy go lucky brother along with several nieces, nephews and his dog Baby. Danny was preceded in death by his father Ernie Keyes and his mother Ethel Keyes Sanders. His Farewell…A Memorial Service will be held to honor Danny at Oroville Funeral Home, 1454 Montgomery St. Oroville, on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 10:30 am.
