Obituary of Charlotte Elizabeth Green
Charlotte Elizabeth Green, aged 82, passed away on October 13, 2024 in Oroville, CA.
Born on June 21, 1942 Charlotte lived a life marked by her loving, caring nature and a wonderful sense of humor. She was a woman who embraced adventure and brought joy to those around her. Charlotte had a diverse and fulfilling life. She graduated with an Associate of Art degree and also went through the police academy. She began her professional journey as an accountant and bookkeeper. Charlotte and her husband Roger also started Green Rock Quarry. This was a massive under taking and provides base rock for the railroads still to this day. Later in life Charlotte owned and operated Carousel Antiques, an antique shop that reflected her passion for finding and preserving historic treasures. Additionally, she dedicated 15 years to caring for her husband, showcasing her deep commitment and love.
Her love for the outdoors was evident in her hobbies. At a young age Charlotte helped her family with the dude ranch at Bucks Lake, where she indulged in horseback riding. She also enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, water skiing stunts, photography, was an enthusiast of sunbathing, yard selling, and treasure hunting, always on the lookout for unique finds. A little known fact about her is that she was only a few hours away from acquiring her pilots license.
Family was always super important to Charlotte and she loved being a Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Patti Underhill; son, Michael Aldrich , step daughter, Danielle Green; step son, Roger Jr Green; grandchildren, Katie Hoskins, Brenden Malotte, Matthew Aldrich, and Tara Aldrich, Steven Silva, Cory Silva, Cole Silva and her great-grandchildren, Shelby, Taylor, Rylee, Barret, Jude, Reid, River, Tinsley, Reece, Addison, and Bennet.
Charlotte's life was a testament to her vibrant spirit and her ability to touch the lives of many. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Celebration of life will be November 9th 3-6pm at 1359 Huntoon St, Oroville, CA.
