During high school, Jason was active in gymnastics and Boy Scouts where he earned his Eagle Scout rank.
Jason graduated from Waukesha West High School in 1999 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities – Carlson School of Management in 2003. He competed on the men’s gymnastics team at the University of Minnesota.
Jason was a talented athlete and loved gymnastics, downhill/backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and, most of all, whitewater kayaking. He kayaked almost every great river in Western North America. He was also an advocate for the environment and passionate about pursuing renewable, clean energy and protecting natural resources. Jason’s positive energy, infectious smile, willingness to help others, and joy were limitless.
He worked as a Training Manager at Inspire Medical Systems for eight years. Prior to this role, Jason worked as a Targeted Field Clinical Representative at Boston Scientific for more than eight years. Jason enjoyed helping people, building relationships with his colleagues and medical professionals in support of a patient’s health.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., at Lilac Acres in Waukesha, Wisconsin. A Spring 2025 celebration of life in Denver, Colorado, is being planned with details to be shared soon.
