Obituary of Pamela Gaye Jernigan

Pamela Gaye Jernigan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born April 19,1964 in Oroville, CA to Kenneth and Carlotta (Jones) Owen.

Pam graduated from Las Plumas High School in 1982. She married and had her first son, CJ, in 1984. Followed by Jason and Kendel. She then wed and had her youngest daughter, Tristan in 1997. She loved her children fiercely and being their mother was the pride of her life.

Pam met the love of her life, Steven, in 2000. They enjoyed over 23 years of marriage and together they formed a family with eight children! She liked to say they made a real life Brady Bunch.

Pam was a hard worker. She worked as a manager for Taco Bell for about 20 years. During that time she also managed a very busy household. She loved DIY projects and making our house a home. She loved caring for her children and ALL of their friends. The fridge and cupboards were stocked with everyone’s favorites and she always had dinner on the table. Somehow she kept everything in order and got everyone to practice on time.

In 2005 she became a Grandma and the rest was history. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was a fun grandma who enjoyed cooking and doing all of the messy projects with her grandchildren. They may have been filthy when they were picked up but you know they were loved and had the time of their lives.

Pamela also loved to read, cook, camp, garden, sew, and hunt. She enjoyed the beach and her animals. Most of all she loved getting the family together and cooking way too much food. If you know Pam, then you know she loved Christmas. Everything she did, she poured her heart and soul into it. She will be deeply missed but her love carries on in those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Jernigan, her sons, CJ Lind (wife Angel) and Jason Lind, her daughters, Kendel Lind and Tristan Berg (husband Braden), her step-children, Chris Jernigan, Levi Jernigan (wife Amy), Crystal Torres (husband Jason), and Brendt Jernigan (wife Sadie). Her Brother Kenneth (Kenny) Owen. Her beloved 17 grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tommaso, Elijah, Anastasia, Michael, Amelia, Ayla, Jaxon, Stella, Kenzley, Paige, Mattnee, Huntlee, Macie, Gabriel, Ariella, and Isabella. As well as aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
