Obituario de Lorenzo Sánchez-Martín

Nació el 7 de julio de 1952 en Jalisco, México, hijo de Leonardo Sánchez y María Martín. A los 16 años de edad, Lorenzo Sánchez tomó la decisión de ayudar a su familia y a sí mismo y fue a buscar el sueño americano. Rascando la tierra de la madre naturaleza en California, trabajando las temporadas de cosecha. Le encantaba estar a los campos abierto, y la naturaleza siempre fue su inspiración de energía. Desde los campos de cosecha, los files de uva, y la altura de los árboles grandes de los pinos: como leñador. Solo asistió a la escuela hasta el 3er grado, pero sus habilidades matemáticas eran increíbles. Le encantaba su trabajo, le encantaba su jardín, montar a caballo, las reuniones familiares y la vida en la granja.

En febrero de 1976 se casó con Irene Sánchez en Jalisco, México, y juntos tuvieron 6 hijos. Su familia era su deleite y su mayor tesoro. Sus tacos de lengua van a ser legendarios, inolvidables y los favoritos de todos. ¡Cualquier excusa para unir a su familia! Él siempre fue el alma de la fiesta, y todavía podemos escuchar las risas contagiosas y las historias divertidas de papá, de suspenso en sus anécdotas e historias divertidas papá! Siempre esperábamos atento ese momento de suspenso o final inesperado en sus historias o anécdotas. Siempre asombrados de lo maravilloso que era como ser humano, padre y esposo. Lo echaremos mucho de menos.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Leonardo, Andrea, Himelda, Gerardo, Lorenzo Jr. y Juan. Sus 12 nietos, Andrés, Daniel, Zulema, Chantal, Dalia, Jesús, Yesenia, Leonardo, Sofia, Yasmin, Alidia y Eliza. Sus 2 bisnietos Mizael y Aviana

Obituary of Lorenzo Sanchez-Martin

Born on July 7th, 1952, in Jalisco, Mexico to Leonardo Sanchez and Maria Martin. At 16 years of age, Lorenzo Sanchez made the choice to help his family and himself and went to look for the American Dream. Scratching the earth of mother nature in California, he worked the harvest seasons. He loved being in the open fields, and nature was always his grounding source. From Fields, to Vineyards, and the heights of the Redwood Forests as a logger. He only attended school until 3rd grade, but his math skills were amazing. He loved his work, he loved his own garden, horseback riding, family reunions and the homesteading life.

In February of 1976 he married Irene Sanchez in Jalisco, Mexico, and together they raised 6 children. His family was his delight and his greatest treasure. His tacos de lengua were legendary and everyone’s favorite. Any excuse to unite his family! He was always the life of the party, and we can still hear Dad’s infectious laughter and funny stories, where we’d listen attentively for the funny little twist or surprise ending!

Always in awe of what a wonderful man and father he was. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, Leonardo, Andrea, Himelda, Gerardo, Lorenzo Jr, and Juan. His 12 grandchildren, Andres, Daniel, Zulema, Chantal, Dalia, Jesus, Yasmin, Leonardo, Yasmin, Sofia, Alidia, and Eliza. His 2 great grandchildren Mizael and Aviana.
