Obituary of Michael James O'Connell

In Loving Memory

Michael James O’Connell 74, of Oroville CA passed away at
home on June 5, 2024 with his loving wife Mary Ann, and dog Iris,
by his side. Mike was born July 14, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois.
Mike was the beloved husband of Mary Ann for 56 years. He is
survived by 3 brothers and their wives, Pat and Susie O’Connell,
Bo and Lynn O’Connell, and Terry O’Connell. He is also survived
by his 5 sister-in-laws and their husbands, Henrietta and Mark
Johnson, Leona and Bob Sowinski, Tammy and Dave Lawryn,
Michelle and Adam Holt and Jan Libner and many nieces and
nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Francis
and Edna O’Connell and his sister, Mary. Mike worked as a
custodian for Palermo School for 25 years. He was a devoted fan
of the San Francisco Giants and the Chicago Bears. He will be
greatly missed and will live in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

There will be a private funeral service.
