Hey Uncle Dan. Wow, still cant believe it… It’s been tough the past couple weeks, but just want to say how much I’ll miss you. Even though I wasn’t unfortunately able to see you as much as I got older I always enjoyed coming over and laughing every time. Your jokes always made me feel better. I remember back in the day fishing with you and the family, playing baseball, going up and getting Christmas trees. I’ll always keep those in my heart. Rest in peace Dan. You were an amazing uncle. ❤️

Well Bro in Law, you know I’m a man of few words. I have many great memories of things we did together. And all the years we worked together were great. You have been more of a brother to me. Always there when I or my family needed you. I know I will see you again. Until then RIP….Brother ❤️

Even though our family became so distant, this memory feels like yesterday! We went to San Jose to see the rest of the family and even went to a museum . The laughs, stories, and quality time were my favorite when growing up. From teaching me how to play softball to even being my driving instructor, Uncle Dan played a huge role in my life for years. We love you always!

After knowing the Rabbitt family for 49 years it would be impossible to list my memories so I'll try and just give the highlights. From playing football at USA Park to babysitting with his baby sister Susan at the Del Oro apartments.
Parties at his Grant Avenue Duplex to parties at my Pomona Avenue apartment that resulted in a hole in my hallway when I was pregnant with Rory.
What about the infamous BASEBALL Brawl when Carol was pregnant with Little Randy and I was pregnant with Little Susan.
Or my youngest son Dylan hollering out in Albertsons 'Hey Mom I thought we were going to the Coke Mans house?". Knowing dang well that in Oroville that could mean something totally different.
Camping and fishing with our families and the births of our babies and grandbabies to the deaths of our parents, we've been through it all.
Many a 49er and Kings games were watched at Dan and Sam's.
I'm gonna miss hearing him call me "KID" and I'm even gonna miss that horrible picture of me passed out on their sofa with that dang Banana.
RIP my friend, my bonus brother. Fly high with the angels and give our families in heaven my love

Well Bro, I don't even know where to begin. I'm so lost without you. Let me start by saying you are one of the toughest, bravest, strongest, people I know, and I feel so blessed to have had you as my brother. You always made everyone feel welcomed and you had such a big heart. That's why you were so good at being Santa Claus. You took that role very seriously and you put so many smiles on children's faces. You were also a great story teller and no matter where you were or what you did, there was always a story about it:) I still think you should have wrote a book about all your experiences. There's no doubt it would have been a best seller. LOL This is just a couple of things about you and how special you were. I could go on and on. I love you, big bro. There is no doubt in my mind that I will see you and the rest of our family someday<3
Your sister
Carol

Dan the Man always was able to put a smile on my face. He connected with people constantly. Treated everyone who came around like family. One of my fondest memories of him was playing basketball at the gym, and being way too out of shape to be doing so. Another good memory was playing horseshoes in his backyard. He was lucky enough to be paired with me. He was good, I was not. Even with him being competitive, he stayed positive with me. Such a great man who made a great imprint on many. I truly feel special having known him, and I know lots of people that agree.
