Obituary of Carol Darlene Griffin

Carol Darlene Griffin, 81, passed away on May 5, 2024.  She was born on September 14, 1942 in Concord, California to Eugene and Modell Carden.  She graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in Concord in 1960.  She was the Circulation Manager at the Mercury Register for 30 years.  Carol enjoyed playing bingo and loved all things of nature, especially while on vacation with friends and family.

She is survived by her son, David Griffin, daughters Debbie Pruitt and Charlotte Kilgore; grandchildren Brian, Josh, Precious, Destiny, April, Jordan, Marcus and Tatelyn; her niece Teresa Ramirez and nephew Greg Snook, and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Modell Carden and her sister Geri Walters.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday May 9, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd., in Oroville, California.
