Obituary of Reed Burton Johnson

Reed Burton Johnson 73, suddenly passed on April 26th.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chalmer and Evelyn Johnson of Gridley and is survived by his son Burton Alexander Johnson, 5 brothers; Mario, Greg, Kurt, Brad and Monte Johnson, 4 sisters; Kaye Gorton, Corine Johnson, Lynn Mendoza, Lora Sharp and their spouses along with many nieces and nephews.

Reed worked in the Sutter/Butte County communities as a well-known Real Estate agent. He loved gardening, his chickens and most of all spending time with Burton. Reed spent some time at the Summit Lighthouse in Montana working at the Montessori School teaching young children. He was also involved in the New California efforts.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1pm June 2nd at the Moose Lodge in Gridley.
