Obituary of Boyd Vincent Sears III

His Legacy… Boyd Vincent Sears III was born on December 12, 1937 in Phoenix, Arizona to Boyd and Hattie Sears. He passed away on August 18, 2015 in Folsom, California. Boyd was self-employed from 1961 until his passing. He owned several businesses including a Douglas service station, a car wash, a construction business, a farm, and most recently a rock quarry in Georgetown, California. Boyd cared deeply about his friends and community and was involved in the local Rotary Club for many years in Georgetown. Boyd "Papa" enjoyed spending time with his family and passed down a strong work ethic, leadership, and was a good provider. His Family… Boyd is survived by his wife of 18 years Wilma, his sons Monty (Kelli) Sears of Nampa, ID; Marty (Debbie) Sears of Oroville, CA; Boyd IV (Julie) Sears of Chico, CA; his sister Bonnie Helm of Edmund, OK; his seven grandchildren, Brooke, Bethanie, Ryan, Brittany, Juliana, Boyd V, Leah and his 2 ½ great grandchildren Jaida, McKenzie and soon to arrive Jayson. He is preceded in death by his parents Boyd II and Hattie Sears.
