I first met Debbie when she was dating Bill Connelly (also a lifelong family friend), at the First Christian Church on B St. back in the 60’s. She always had a smile and kept herself so pretty. We all grew up here in Oroville and in later years I frequented her 2110 Salon. The last time I saw Debbie was Christmas time 2023 while downtown for the Christmas parade, where Billy proudly announced he had proposed to her. They were both beaming and I was so excited for them and gave them big hugs while we all grinned from ear to ear. She is sprinkled in my memories throughout the years and I will miss Debbie always.
