Obituary of Ronald Dean Smith, Jr.

Ronald Dean Smith, Jr., “Tooter” passed away on March 7, 2024.  He was 52 years old.  He was born in Oroville, California on October 28, 1971 to Ronald and Donna Smith, both of whom have preceded him in death.  Tooter had a passion for motorcycles, he often enjoyed long rides listening to his favorite music.  When he wasn’t with his large loving family, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and playing pool.  Tooter also collected coins.  His presence in the lives of those who loved him will be greatly missed. 

Tooter is survived by his sons, Christopher and Jayson, and his daughter Jersey.  He had 3 grandchildren, Kayden, Eva and Axton; his siblings, Fred and Lisa Bollinger and Paul and Tammy Flores and his nieces and nephews – Tyler, Ashley, Amanda, Derek and Daniel.

A Memorial Service for Tooter will be held on Friday March 22, 2024, 2:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson Street in Oroville to whom arrangements have been entrusted to 530-534-3877.
