Frank Melvin McNeal
His Legacy….Frank Melvin McNeal was born on March 25th, 1936 in Forks of Salmon, in Siskiyou County, CA to Bud and Alice McNeal and was a full blooded Karuk Native American. Frank passed away on March 5th, 2024 in Oroville, California. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was married to his wife Juanita for 29 years, until her death in 2015. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and he loved being a part of the annual Winchester Bay Camping trip with his wife and family. He also especially enjoyed watching his grand and great-grand children grow up.
His family….Frank is survived by his children, Frank McNeal(Louise), Becky Hanson(Glenn), Connie Fleener(Del), John Garrido, Tomasa Frazier(Tom), Carlos Trahin(Vicki), Sandra Davis(John) and Ricky Trahin. His 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. As well as his 2 sisters, Octavia Mallard, and Shirley Ann Pearce. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Juanita, 5 brothers; Robert, George, Bud, Lloyd and Gilbert. His sister Hazel, his daughter Roberta Hunter(Bob) and his daughter in law Sue Garrido.
His Farewell…His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 at 10:00 am at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson St. Oroville, CA 95965, with a Graveside to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a reception to follow the service, at 1909 Bird Street, in Oroville.
