Obituary of Buddy Glassgow
Gerald "Buddy" Lee Glassgow, 82 years, of Oroville, passed away on Sunday February 25, 2024.
Born in Oroville, California on August 1st, 1941 to Bonnie Smith and Geraldine Watkins-Glassgow. He was an honorable Veteran who served his country in the Army. He was Detective for the Yuba County Sheriffs Department and Colusa County Sherriff's Department. He also worked a a Tour Pilot and Cropduster. Gerald was well liked by everyone and well respected by his colleagues.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years Nanci Hicks-Glassgow, sons Brett "Joe" Glassgow and Trent and wife Tracey Glassgow, as well as his step-children and grandchildren. His brother Ronald Glassgow and wife Celeste, their children Lance and Joelle Glassgow and their children Ace, Bohdi and Cassie.
He his predeceased by his parents, Bonnie Smith and Geraldine Watkins-Glassgow, and his step-father Harry Glassgow, and his grandparents Thomas and Edna Watkins.
Buddy loved boating, flying, outdoor activities, law enforcement and was a Member in Good Standing of the VFW. He supported his favorite charity Tunnel to Towers often.
His Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday March 15, 2024, at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson Street in Oroville; followed by his Graveside Service at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Oroville.
